The Venue

The 2011 World SCRABBLE^® Championship will be held on October 12–16 at the Hilton Hotel, Grzybowska 63, Warsaw, Poland, 00-844, +48 22 356 555 (fax +48 22 356 5556).

The hotel is a modern business hotel located in the central business and financial district, 20-30 minutes from Warsaw Chopin Airport (IATA:WAW). Amenities include high-speed Internet in guest rooms, an indoor pool, 24-hour casino, bars and restaurants. See map.

Despite considerable effort, we have been unable to negotiate a significant reduction on the Hilton rates for WSC participants beyond what is available on their website and elsewhere on the Internet. The Hilton consider October as ‘high-season’. You can still book the Hotel on their website and with a number of Internet agencies.
