This draft schedule for the 2011 World Scrabble Championship is subject to revision. Unless otherwise specified, all events take place at the Hilton Hotel, Warsaw, Poland.

Tuesday, 11 October 5:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. Setup: staff only
7:30 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Registration: all players who intend to compete must register in person with the organisers. Drinks and hors d’œuvres will be served.
8:00 P.M. – Welcoming party for all contestants: music and hot food. National dress recommended.
Wednesday, 12 October 9:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M. Setup: staff only.
10:00 A.M. – 10:30 A.M. Opening Ceremony.
10:30 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Setup: staff only.
11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Rounds 1–2.
1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Lunch.
2:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. Rounds 3–7.
Thursday, 13 October 8:30 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Rounds 8–11.
1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Lunch.
2:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. Rounds 12–16.
Friday, 14 October 8:30 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Rounds 17–20.
1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Lunch.
2:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. Rounds 21–25.
9:00 P.M. – WESPA Biennial General Meeting.
Saturday, 15 October 8:30 A.M. – 12:45 P.M. Rounds 26–29.
12:45 P.M. – 1:45 P.M. Lunch.
1:45 P.M. – 7:45 P.M. Rounds 30–34. More time is allotted for these rounds because each round’s pairings will be based on the preceding round’s standings, and will not be available until the last result is reported.
Sunday, 16 October 9:30 A.M. – 11:15 A.M. Final Rounds 1 & 2.
11:15 P.M. – 12:00 noon Lunch.
12:00 noon – 3:00 P.M. Final Rounds 3–5, followed immediately by the Prize Ceremony. The finals are a best-of-five match; Rounds 4 and 5 will be played only if necessary.
