Ganesh was at 11-1; Adam at 10-2; Andrew, Paul Cleary (AUS), Naween Fernando (AUS), Pakorn Nemitrmansuk (THA) at 9-3; and rounding out the top pairing group of ten players Gerald Carter (THA) and Panupol Sujjayakorn (Wsc) at 8.5-3.5 and Jerry Lerman (USA) and Nigel Richards (NZL) at 8-4.

Ganesh and Jerry play a very close game. Pakorn beat Adam 417-331, but Adam retains a lead of 476 spread points. I asked Pakorn if it was an interesting game, and he shook his head: "Just lucky!" Panupol beat Andrew 521-423.

David Eldar (AUS) is delighted to have beaten Harshan Lamabadusuriya (Eng) 468-424 despite Harshan's having gotten both blanks.

Zev Kaufman (CAN) begins playing under Sabbath rules either this round or next.
